A Dickens of a Good Time with Gerald Charles Dickens

$75Douglas County Historical Society announces two unique one-man live theater performances by Gerald Charles Dickens, the great-great-grandson of literary master Charles Dickens.
On Wednesday, October 23, he will perform Dickens and the Queen during “Lunch at Windsor Castle and Royal Jewelry Sale” at Champions Run, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Dickens and the Queen is Gerald Dickens’ original and rarely-seen work based on accounts of Charles Dickens’ only meeting with Queen Victoria.
Enjoy an On-Stage Q&A session with Mr. Dickens after the show.
Gerald Dickens of Oxford, England, is an actor, director, and producer who travels throughout the world showcasing his talents. He has been staging adaptations of his great-great-grandfather’s works for more than 30 years in theaters, libraries and schools, and on ships. Omaha is one of only two mid-west stops on his 2024 tour.
