Chinese Music Concert

We are excited to announce the inaugural NCA Chinese Music Concert, featuring a unique blend of traditional and contemporary performances. The concert will showcase Guzheng ensemble and solos, as well as the Pentatonic Woodwinds, playing beautiful Chinese melodies.

The concert is FREE and is expected to last approximately 60 minutes.

The NCA Guzheng Ensemble will perform a variety of pieces and musical forms in collaboration with other musicians:

* Slow Slow Tune (ft. solo singing)
* Tear of Plum Blossom (ft. flute)
* Jasmine Flower (ft. choir)
The Pentatonic Woodwinds, a quintet founded in September 2024, will perform Chinese music in a range of genres:

* Chinese Nursery Medley
* (Clarinet Duet) Longing for the Spring Breeze
* Fernleaf Bamboo Hedge in the Moonlight
* Purple Bamboo Melody
* Blooming Flowers and the Full Moon
