Jānis Maļeckis Takes Strauss Stage for Solo Piano Recital

Latvian pianist Jānis Maļeckis will give a solo piano recital in the Jan and John Christensen Concert Hall in Strauss Performing Arts Center. Maļeckis completed post-graduate studies at Chamber Music Faculty of Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatoire and graduated the Art Academy of Latvia. He is a professor of JVLMA Chamber Ensemble and Accompaniment Department and teaches at Jūrmala Secondary Music School.
He has given masterclasses in Germany, Great Britain, Luxembourg, Estonia and has participated in festivals in Finland, Estonia, France, and USA.
