With an urgent yet optimistic look on the global climate crisis\, this book presents a plan for eliminating greenhouse gas emissions. Drawing on a decade of research into the causes and effects of climate change as well as insights from leading experts\, Gates discusses current environmental technologies\, emerging innovations\, government policies\, and practical steps that each of us can take to make a difference for our planet. \nWe will meet for three sessions: April 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. (handout books and introductory discussion)\, May 13 and 27 from 6 to 8 p.m. Books will be given to participants at the first session. Classes will be held in-person and will move to Zoom in the event of inclement weather.
