Curator Talk

Curator Talks begin with a performance by UNO flute students at 5:15 P.M. Claire James, Paige Michaud, & Christine Beard will perform flute music by Ludwig van Beethoven reminiscent of Jewish musicians imprisoned in WWII concentration camps across Europe performed works by German composers on whatever instruments were available. The flute performance is followed by a lecture by SBMLC Chief Curator Alexandra Cardon at 6:00 P.M. This Thursday evening lecture will be presented on a Bak and Bacon: Representing Postwar Angst as it relates to the current exhibition Becoming a Witness: From Abstraction to Figuration. RSVP required.
