Latin Jazz Concert featuring Francisco Torres

The UNO Jazz Ensembles will present a Latin Jazz Concert featuring GRAMMY-winning trombonist Francisco Torres. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, Francisco now hails from Los Angeles where he serves as musical director for Latin Jazz icon Poncho Sanchez. The concert will also feature Chilean percussionist extraordinaire Michael Pujado. Francisco and Michael will perform as featured guest artists with the UNO Jazz Ensemble, UNO Jazz Two, and the Metropolitan Area Youth Jazz Orchestra. This event is funded in part by CFAM’s Cultural Enrichment Fund.
