The Art of Bob Hall

BENSON – Ming Toy Gallery is pleased to host the work of the legendary Bob Hall during the month of May. The opening reception is Friday, May 3, from 6:00 to 9:00pm. We are located at 6066 Maple Street.
Our friends next door at Legend Comics & Coffee inspired us to book this show, as May 4 is Free Comic Book Day.
Hall’s first assignment at Marvel Comics was drawing a new comic called The Champions – a hodgepodge superhero team consisting of The Angel, Black Widow, Ghost Rider, Hercules and Iceman, who were “united to battle for the common man… because the world still needs heroes!”
The comic book artist, who hails from Lincoln, is also an accomplished fine art painter and director.
The Art of Bob Hall is on display through May 27. Regular gallery hours are:
Wednesday and Friday: Noon to 5:00pm
Thursday: Noon to 8:00pm
Saturday: 9am to 1:00pm
Benson First Friday: 6:00 to 9:00pm
