Good Vibrations Used Instrument Drive!

Have an instrument collecting dust? Put it to good use by donating it to the annual Good Vibrations Used Instrument Drive. Last year the Omaha community came together to donate over 80 instruments to be repaired and distributed to Title I schools in the Omaha Metro. We received instruments of all kinds from marimbas, to flutes, to guitars.

This year’s drive will be Saturday, August 8th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the UNO Clocktower.

Instruments donated will be restored by the Omaha Chamber Music Society’s Good Vibrations program. They’ll end up in the hands of a student in need here in the Omaha Council Bluffs metro, and you’ll know your old instrument is still creating joy!

You can drop off and upcycle any used instrument, except for pianos and tubas. If you are seeking to donate one of these instruments, please contact Judy Divis of Good Vibrations directly at judydivis@gmail.com.

Open Omaha
