  • Gabriel Escalera will host a Q&A with a writer and lead actor or The Ballad of a Hustler, on Thursday, March 13th at 5:30 p.m.
  • Jeff Koterba will host the panel with director and subject of The RoseMan of Omaha, a poignant and inspiring documentary that follows the life of Omaha’s Dean Battiato, on Thursday, March 13 at 5:50 p.m.
  • Sherry Brownrigg will host the Q&A with the film makers of Motherland on Friday, March 14th at 5:30 p.m.
  • Christine Burright, one of the hosts of Pass the Popcorn, will interview the director from Step Back, Doors Closing, a charming love story, on Saturday, March 15th at 2:45 p.m.
  • Jeff Koterba will host the Q&A panel with film makers after the Animated Shorts, on Saturday, March 15 at 12:30 p.m.
  • Sherry Brownrigg will also host the panel with film makers of Saturn, a sci-fi drama about a family whose lives are upended when a strange planet appears in the sky on a collision course for earth, on Saturday, March 15th at 4:45 p.m.
  • Christine Burright will also host an interview with the director of the documentary Beyond the Gaze: Jule Campbell’s Swimsuit Issue on Saturday, March 15th at 5:30 p.m.
  • Jeff Koterba will also host the Q&A panel with film makers after the Nebraska Shorts, on Saturday, March 15 at 8:20 p.m.

About the Festival

The Omaha Film Festival is returning for its 20th season!

The week-long festival will feature over 100 international, national, and local artists with movies ranging from narrative features, documentaries, short films, and animated shorts, with a special section for Nebraska-made films as well. The selected filmmakers are invited to attend the festival and are given the opportunity to discuss their films with the audience after each screening.
