This exhibition is a part of the BIPOC Curatorial Program series organized by the Radial Arts Center with support from the Benson Creative District. The BIPOC Curatorial Program is designed to fill the gap in available opportunities for individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color. The Program is designed to offer the opportunity for guest curators of color to curate exhibitions within Radial Art Center’s ongoing Exhibition Program and empower these individuals to develop and share exhibitions that initiate dialogue and share personal vision and experiences through curation.

Baylee Bennett’s “There’s More To See” is a free, community-focused exhibition that invites KVNO listeners to engage with thoughtful, locally made art. Featuring intimate oil paintings that reflect the beauty of everyday life, this solo show offers a visual experience as rich and reflective as classical music itself.

Held during Benson First Friday at the Radial Arts Center, the opening reception is a great opportunity to support a rising Omaha artist and connect with the city’s creative community — all at no cost.

The closing reception for FLOW, a solo exhibition by Omaha artist Bart Vargas, is a perfect fit for KVNO’s culturally engaged audience. As a local artist, educator at Iowa Western Community College, and cultural arts advocate, Vargas embodies the creative spirit of Omaha’s arts community.
