New One-Act Play Combines Classic Story with an AI Twist

August 6th, 2024

The Omaha Fringe Festival is set to premiere The Cleanup Lady Makes it all Better, a satirical one-act play that explores the intersection of reckless investment management and the rapid rise of artificial intelligence. Creating a story with an AI aspect has been a special interest of writer and producer Clay Farris Naff for quite some time.

After about a year of writing and a little bit of writer’s block, Naff put together a fun and entertaining storyline for this new play. With all the different underlying themes in mind, there is one ultimate message.

Naff recognizes how beautiful it is for Omaha to be so supportive of its artistic community. The Cleanup Lady Makes it all Better will be showing on August 9-11 at Benson Theatre as part of the Omaha Fringe Festival. To find out more about tickets and showtimes, visit omahafringe.org.
