Nebraska Wind Symphony Hosts Music-Filled Weekend

The Association of Concert Bands Regional Connection Event provides an opportunity for adult instrumentalists in community bands in the midwest area to gather, share ideas and some great concert band music.

Events organized by the ACB are how they keep encouragement of musicianship. Deb Lund is a saxophonist for the Nebraska Wind Symphony, she says the group has been honored with hosting one of these events this year. Both days of this event will give the chance for participants to hear some good music.Lund encourages everyone to check out the convention because of all the positive outcomes it will provide.

The ACB Regional Connection is this Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27 at the Strauss Performing Arts Center on UNO’s Dodge Campus. For more information or to find the whole schedule of concerts and sessions happening during the convention, visit acbands.org.
