This Summer ‘Seussical’ is “The Musical” From PLVCT

Horton the Elephant, Cat in the Hat, Thing One, Thing Two, and JoJo, some of Dr. Seuss’s characters striking on stage in the great “Seussical.”

About 22 books by Dr. Seuss contribute to the plot of this musical. A musical for children…that’s right! The child in all of us. Celeste Pille, President of the Papillion La Vista Community Theater says, even if you don’t have kids, you should not miss it, this musical speaks to everyone.

PLVCT has been producing musicals for over 15 years. Just in 2022, the board wanted to introduce sponsored free tickets. This year, the free tickets doubled up and these tickets are for the general admission or green area where the audience can bring a chair or blanket.

Pille says, producing a musical draws many different talents, that is why many in the Papillion La Vista community get involved in these productions.

“Seussical” starts today and runs through this Sunday, along with the following weekend at SumTur Amphitheater in La Vista. You can visit PLVCT.org for tickets and show information.
