Samuel Bak Museum Marks First Year with High Visitor Count

The Samuel Bak Museum and Learning Center in Aksarben Village celebrated its anniversary after a bustling first year. Opened by the artist Samuel Bak, the museum has become a local hub of culture and history. Executive Director Hilary Hilary Nather-Detisch expressed delight at the museum’s visitor turnout.

Admission is free from Wednesday to Sunday, offering the public a chance to engage with Bak’s art and his Holocaust survival story. Despite being 91 and unable to visit Omaha since the opening, Bak remains actively involved in the museum’s activities. A special event is planned for this Saturday, April 13th.
