| Omaha native Brian Jeffers (currently in New York City) returns to Omaha for a solo recital in collaboration with Stacie Haneline, collaborative pianist. This free performance includes songs from contemporary English composers such as Britten and Muhly, Romantic foreign language songs from Boulanger, Grieg, Duparc, Satie and Bellini, American classical songs by Weill and Price, musical comedy songs from Lehrer, Heisler/Goldrich, and Gordon Myers, and standards from composers Weill, Rodgers, and Sondheim. There will be a cookie reception following the performance. | |
