Tina Tweedy finds inspiration in the beauty and intricacies of the natural world. Throughout her career as a pastry chef and chocolatier in Nebraska, Tina’s edible creations have reflected the essence of nature with the use of native wildflowers, herbs and local honey. With chocolate as a medium, she continues to craft whimsical interpretations of flora and fauna. Tina currently resides in southeast Georgia where she is discovering the diversity and enchantment of the coastal plains.

Inspired by the whimsy and beauty of the natural world, each image in this exhibit represents a chocolate piece handcrafted by the artist. Utilizing chocolate molding and sculpting techniques, the pieces are hand painted with colored cocoa butter and fruit powders, and gilded with edible gold leaf and flowers.
