Mural Scavenger Hunt

Omaha’s creative energy comes alive in this citywide mural experience, curated by muralist Hylan Miller. Participants are invited to explore neighborhoods across the city through a self-guided mural hunt that highlights Omaha’s stories, artists, and public art.

Guests will receive a curated list of murals to locate, encouraging exploration at their own pace while discovering works that reflect the city’s culture and creativity. Some participants approach it as a friendly challenge, while others take time to slow down, take photos, and engage with the art along the way.

The experience includes an optional early access check-in at 11:30 a.m., with general check-in beginning at noon. A featured discussion with Hylan Miller will take place at 3 p.m. at the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel, where he will share insights into the murals, the artists behind them, and the stories connected to each piece. The event concludes at 4 p.m., with guests invited to stay and enjoy the Cottonwood Room afterward.

Participants should plan for a relaxed day of walking, photography, and discovery. Comfortable shoes, a phone for capturing images, and a sense of curiosity are encouraged as the experience offers a new way to see Omaha through its public art.

Ticket pricing is $44.99 for general entry, or $54.99 for general entry plus a 30-minute early start.
