Heritage String Quartet Omaha: Death and the Maiden

Four incredible string players from the Omaha Symphony are joining together to bring you music by Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, and Anselm Hüttenbrenner. Notably, Franz Schubert’s “Death and the Maiden” is known as one of the most difficult compositions for string quartet.

Musicians are Thomas Kluge and Henry Jenkins, violins; Tyler Sieh, viola; and Gregory Clinton, cello.

The Queen’s Six: From Windsor with Love

The Queen’s Six makes its Omaha premiere! This acapella vocal ensemble performs some eight services a week at St. George’s Chapel inside the walls of Windsor Castle, as well as at private and state occasions, often before the Royal Family.

Vesper Legacy Concert featuring Dr. David von Behren

Vesper Concerts ends its 35th season as it began in the first season–with the magnificent organ of Presbyterian Church of the Cross and a chamber ensemble, led by guest organist Dr. David von Behren, a Nebraska native and currently at Harvard University. This concert honors the memory of our series founder, Dana Sloan (1947-2022), as we celebrate 35 years of chamber music in Omaha.
