Classical music has been a part of my life as long as I can remember thanks to my mother who raised me on Bach, Handel, and Gilbert and Sullivan. I grew up studying piano, violin, and voice, singing in numerous choirs, and performing in operas and musicals. I graduated with my BA in music with a vocal emphasis in 2005 from BYU. I have worked as an elementary music teacher and audio voice recorder and am completing my Master’s in Library Science with School Library Certification at UNT. I love the Oregon coast, watching movies, and eating pizza Napoletana and homemade ice cream with my family. I consider working at KVNO a lifelong dream fulfilled.
