OMAHA-Dana Murray grew up in South Omaha. Very early on he committed himself to practicing the drums and dreamed of playing with Wynton Marsalis. Marsalis is a proclaimed jazz musician who has won nine Grammys. Murray is the CO of NOMA (North Omaha Music and Arts) an academy for all young minds.
