High School Auditions and ‘Fame’ on Billboard For This Summer

OMAHA-In 2015 south high drama students along with UNO Theater students produced the musical “In the Heights”. The combination was working well until 2019 and stopped for obvious reasons, but Becky Noble Curriculum specialist for visual and performing arts at South High already had in mind to expand the program where UNO professionals from the theater school will be participating.

NOMA, Music and Arts Academy on Its Way

OMAHA-North Omaha Music and Arts or NOMA is about to start a capital campaign to build an arts academy that will serve anyone who gets there. NOMA will have music classrooms to teach music and production, and a venue that will seat almost 500 people.
