Beyond the Finishing Point reception and artist talk offers an intimate evening to explore one of the most unique artistic collaborations you’ll ever encounter. Join us for wine and light refreshments as renowned artist Jun Kaneko shares the captivating story behind his two-year creative partnership with three-year-old Ana Citrin.

Discover how a fundamental question – How do you know when a work is finished? – led to an extraordinary experiment where Ana held complete authority over when each drawing was complete, simply by declaring “new paper.” Kaneko will reveal the insights gained from surrendering artistic control to a child’s pure instinct and how this collaboration challenged what he thought he knew about the creative process.
