The Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival Kicks Off in Omaha

With the abundance of creativity and ingenuity right here in Nebraska, the
Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival celebrates the rich tapestry of music that is produced
both locally and around the world. The festival will debut its sixth season kick off in
Omaha Sunday with a showcase titled Crossroads Stars at the Gene Leahy mall starting at
8 pm.

The Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival was founded by Lincoln native Eric Keegan. As
a world class bass player, Keegan performed across the globe. It was during his travels
that the idea struck him to establish a music festival in Nebraska.
The Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival held its first season in Lincoln in 2019. In the
years following, the festival has grown and expanded to include performances and events
in both Lincoln and Omaha. Olga Smola, Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival Executive
Director, is gearing up for the start of the festival activities in Omaha.
Alongside the musical performances, the festival will also include events and activities
centered around the arts. With the varied musical program, the festival encourages guests
to experience a wide array of genres throughout the year.week.
The festival’s sixth season program includes a different event in Omaha from Sunday
through July 27. The festival finale will include a performance by the newly established
Crossroads Festival Orchestra.
