‘Benson Theatre’ Exclusive Show in the Works

Amy Ryan described Benson Theatre as a unique and true community hub. After recently stepping down as Executive Director, Ryan is now passing the torch to new leadership, ensuring that local initiatives and community plans will continue to thrive.

Maddie Radcliff, now Interim Co-Executive Director, emphasizes that the theater is open to all ideas, stating, “We never say no.”

This summer, one of the standout events was a burlesque showcase that drew significant attention. Radcliff highlighted how this event gave people a chance to explore a lesser-known part of North Omaha’s cultural history—the vibrant burlesque scene that once thrived there. While past shows had only lightly touched on the burlesque theme, this performance took a deeper dive into the topic.

Even as they maintain a busy schedule, the team at Benson Theatre is already gearing up for a show with worldwide exclusivity set to premiere next month.
