BFF’s Pet-Fest Brings Music and Community to Benson

This weekend, a small gravel parking lot on 62nd Street, just north of Maple in Benson, will transform into the lively hub of “Pet-Fest.” Now in its seventh year, Pet-Fest is a cornerstone of BFF Omaha’s concert series, showcasing a diverse lineup of over 20 bands.

The event has become a key highlight for regional musicians and a vital fundraiser for BFF Omaha, an organization dedicated to strengthening communities through the arts. JP Gurnett, Communications & Creative Director, emphasized that both days will feature some of the best local alternative bands.

Beyond the music, Pet-Fest is crucial for raising the financial support needed to continue BFF Omaha’s mission. With only three full-time team members, the organization relies heavily on volunteers to bring events like Pet-Fest to life.
