In Omaha, Cinco de Mayo has been celebrated for more than one hundred years. The first celebrations of Cinco de Mayo in Omaha took place at Hanscom Park, nowadays, this celebration draws over 250,000 people on its three days of parades, music, food, and carnival. Celebrations stretch from L to Q on south 24th street.
