Alexander Pushkin was Russia’s most influential 19th century writer and poet. Composer Peter Tchaikovsky was stunningly successful in bringing Pushkin’s greatest literary romance novel to life on the opera stage. Conductor Steven White returns to Opera Omaha this weekend to conduct Tchaikovsky’s greatest opera masterpiece, Eugene Onegin (own-YAY-gin). Tickets are available at OperaOmaha.org.
