PACE, Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month
October 9th, 2024
Each year, from September 15 to October 15, Americans celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month, honoring the rich histories and cultures of people with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Pottawattamie Arts, Culture & Entertainment (PACE), located just across the river, is one of the local organizations joining the celebrations in Omaha and Council Bluffs. Jacy Rook, Programming Specialist at PACE, shared that they have an excellent partner for this year’s festivities.
“Our goal is to enrich, inspire, and energize the community,” says Rook. The events include a mix of classes, concerts, ballet, and theater, offering something for everyone to enjoy. The packed schedule highlights the vibrant cultural experiences that bring the community together.
With a full calendar of activities, PACE provides a platform for unity, celebrating arts, culture, and shared experiences.
