PACE Interactive Hosts Golden Age of Hollywood Fundraiser

Uniting the arts under one roof at the Hoff Center in Council Bluffs is PACE, an arts organization that brings together a variety of local arts organizations, including Chanticleer Community Theatre, American Midwest Ballet, Council Bluffs Symphony Orchestra, the Kitchen Council, and many more. PACE creates opportunities for collaboration among arts organizations throughout the community.
Holding its annual fundraiser on August 28, PACE Interactive is a celebration of the arts in the Omaha metro. Director of Development at PACE, Deanna Walz, says, “PACE was really started as a way of bringing all of the arts together.”
One of PACE’s key goals is increasing access to the arts. Whether through community auditions for its music and theater programs, free admission to art exhibits, or classes that help bridge the knowledge gap surrounding artistic creation, PACE works to make the arts more accessible to the community.
“The arts are really… a balm for the soul,” Walz states. “We don’t think that the arts are important until someone in our life dies, and we need a song to make sense of it all.”
PACE sees the importance of the arts in enriching the lives of people throughout the community. With this year’s theme being “The Golden Age of Hollywood,” PACE will hold its annual fundraiser, PACE Interactive, on August 28. More information can be found at paceartsiowa.org.
