The genre, once dominated by traditional hosts like Rick Steves and Samantha Brown, is now being reimagined by actors and comedians who bring levity and personality to every destination. From awkward encounters to in-depth cultural explorations, these shows blend humor and travel in ways that are both entertaining and surprisingly insightful.

“Conan O’Brien Must Go”
Streaming on Max, this series follows the former late-night host as he visits fans around the world, immersing himself in local culture with his signature brand of self-deprecating humor. Highlights include a culinary adventure in Spain with actor Javier Bardem and officiating a bungee-jumping wedding in New Zealand.

“The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy”
