 Christine Burright connects with one of the many filmmakers traveling from around the world to be part of the festival in Omaha. These directors and storytellers bring with them months, sometimes years, of creative work, all leading up to the moment when their films finally meet an audience on the big screen.

For one filmmaker, that journey to Omaha was happening in real time. Christine caught up with the director while he was literally on the road, driving toward the city for the screening of his own film. It was a fitting conversation, capturing both the excitement and the anticipation that come with sharing a deeply personal project with festival audiences.
