February 26th, 2024
The 19th edition of the Omaha Film Festival is set to kick off tomorrow, promising nearly two decades of cinematic joy for local and regional audiences.
Each year, from May to December, films from around the world are submitted for consideration. A dedicated selection committee meticulously curates a diverse lineup, encompassing narrative features, short films, documentaries, and screenplays.
Executive Director Marc Longbrake is thrilled to present 98 films, 6 special screenings, and a host of surprises this year. He emphasizes the festival’s significant standing among international events, showcasing not just local talent but also attracting filmmakers from afar.
Navigating the festival’s six-day run in the Aksarben area is made simple with a straightforward approach.
Beyond the screenings, the festival experience extends with engaging Q&A sessions and opportunities to converse with directors and actors in the hallways.
With a rich array of films to explore, this year’s Omaha Film Festival promises to be an unforgettable event. Adding to the excitement, KVNO joins as a sponsoring partner, with Jeff Koterba leading a special Q&A session.
