The Flower Festival 2022 at The Cathedral is Back This Weekend

The Omaha Cathedral Flower Festival began more than 30 years ago, James Pearson became the director of the festival just a few years later.

Last year an online video with photos from past events was the only option for fans of this festival that draws people from all over the Midwest. This year despite the status of the pandemic, lack of employees at the flower stores and if that were not enough the problem of the supply-chain, Pearson decided that it is crucial to have the festival. Many floral designers also wanted to have the festival back in person. Pearson said that even if people were not allowed to congregate, the festival with the remarkable designs will be held online.
