  • Blooms, Birds, Bees, and Butterflies, the Nature of Nebraska by Deb Kubik

    Included with paid admission or garden membership. $15 + tax, $9 + tax for ages 3-12, free for ages 2 and under.

    The exhibit will combine Deb Kubik's love of nature and the beauty of Nebraska’s blooms, birds, and bugs in fused glass. Through fused glass the artist can develop a range of unusual qualities because of the way the medium captures the light and shadows. The layering of custom blends of colored glass frit, in multiple sizes and hues, results in the development of new colors and the creation of depth. The finished pieces will be both realistic and contemporary in nature and are both artistic and functional.

Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which to focus the development of original work and to provide for the practical education of writers, performing artists, creative and technical staff, and the general public in the art and science of moving an idea from the mind to the stage.

    A Very Special Holiday Special is an enjoyable evening of Christmas and Hanukkah joviality. The various short plays include nods to famous holiday entertainment from the past including The Rankin and Bass claymation television specials, The Grinch that Stole Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, and many others. All wrapped together by an energetic and talented cast. This show is sure to be a memorable part of your holiday plans!
