Looking Ahead with Gratitude and Determination

October 6th, 2025

As we wrap up KVNO’s fall fund drive, my heart is full of gratitude. Once again, our listeners showed just how much classical music means to this community. Thanks to your generosity, we ended the drive on a high note—ensuring that the music you love will continue to inspire and uplift.

This year’s fund drive was especially meaningful. For the first time in decades, KVNO moves forward without federal funding. While that support was an important part of our budget, it never defined who we are. What defines us is you—our listeners, our supporters, and our community. Your gifts have already shown that KVNO can thrive because of people who believe in the power of classical music and the arts in our community to connect us all.

Of course, the loss of federal dollars means we will need to be even more intentional in how we operate and how we grow. Every dollar matters, and every act of support—whether it’s a financial gift or sharing KVNO with a friend helps keep classical music alive and accessible here in Omaha.

Your support allows us to bring you the Omaha Symphony, the Omaha Chamber Music Society, Voices of Omaha, and so many other local arts organizations. It helps us spotlight young musicians, highlight community events, and provide a space where music and the arts elevates our daily lives. Together, we are making sure classical music has a strong and lasting home in our community.

From all of us at KVNO, thank you for believing in our mission and for standing with us. The challenges are real, but so is the strength of this community. With your help, the best is yet to come.
