Erte, the Ballet

Erte, the Ballet is a full length contemporary ballet, choreographed by Connie Hinman and set to the opera, 1000 Airplanes on a Roof, by Philip Glass. It was inspired in part, by sculptures created by the artist Erte (1892 to 1990). He was known as the father of the Art Deco movement and his work was well- received in both Europe and America. Six sculptures by Erte will be on display for public viewing.
