Heavier Than Air
Dream Sequence is a new performance and video installation by Heavier Than Air. For one night only, the Carriage House will host an experimental ensemble presenting video art by Shawn Ballarin with a live soundtrack performed by musicians.
Heavier than Air is an experimental ensemble creating video art, live movement, and original soundtracks. Embracing a lo-fi aesthetic, the group combines animation, props, costumes, and live performance to emphasize human presence and the material process.
The evening features an immersive video installation from 5–8 PM, with two live 30-minute performances at 6 PM and 7 PM.
They have presented work at a wide variety of venues including Nebraska Wesleyan University, the Rybin Room, the Zoo Bar, Joslyn Castle, and the Lincoln Exposed Music Festival.
