Here & Queer – Opening Reception

𝘏𝘦𝘳𝘦 & 𝘘𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘳 is a collection of self portraits created by an abundance of local LGBTQ artists. With a goal of sharing diverse perspectives, Alyssa Schmitt curated over thirty works by individuals owning who they are. Coming together on the walls of BFF Gallery, the exhibition encompasses a multitude of mediums, identities, and self-perceptions. United as one community, our differences show the vast array of what it means to be queer and the strength that forms when we come together.
