Presented alongside the opera “Hercules,” Ancient, Mythic, Heroic explores the enduring power of myth and storytelling through images and sculpture. Some works focus on heroism, expressed through physical strength or symbolic power. Others evoke an ancient aesthetic, crafted today yet appearing as if they were made long ago. Together, the exhibition invites viewers to step into an environment that transports them back in time and into another world.

Special Partnership Installation: Inspired by Opera Omaha’s production of Hercules, select works will move to the Orpheum Theater March 13th, for Opera Omaha’s Hercules, performed by The English Concert.
