| This exhibition showcases a printmaking portfolio exchange curated by Joshua Butler, John Charles Cox, and Matt Hanson-Weller. Because ofits capacity to produce deep blacks printmaking was once known as the “black arts.” Playing off of this ominous name, The Black Arts Tarot portfolio is a contemporary homage to the history of artist-made tarot cards. Featuring over 40 printmakers from across the United States, including UNO printmaking professor, Howard Paine, each print is a new interpretation of the stories told by the traditional divination deck.01/26/2024-02/23/2024 |
