The Florentine Players’ 59th Annual Melodrama

Join us for an unforgettable twist on the traditional melodrama with “The Great Kowalski Road Trip: All Roads Lead to Florence”! Get ready for a time-traveling adventure filled with laughs, drama and fun! There are six performances: May 9-11and 16-18 at 7 p.m.

Show Summary: The Kowalski family is off on what could be the last family vacation before the kids go off to college. On their way to see Mt. Rushmore, their plans derail when their car breaks down just outside Florence. Unbeknownst to them, their car not only broke down, but they managed to travel back in time! They seek roadside assistance in historic 1870 Florence and encounter a wild cast of characters. The family quickly realizes they are now part of an old-style melodrama, complete with hero, heroine and villain. Will the Kowalski family find a way to get back to modern times?
