Omaha Native Recounts 1975 Weather Events (Winter Blizzard)

OMAHA-Trail runner and retired nurse Deb Bahr had been a nurse for two years the day of the blizzard and worked at the Lutheran hospital near downtown Omaha. Bahr has vivid memories of that day and remembers that it was her responsibility to get to the hospital that day. About 6 in the morning, she drove herself in her small VW car to the hospital, the heavy snow had already started.
