Celebrate Otis Twelve

Otis Twelve Has Retired

After 50 years as a media icon in the Omaha/Council Bluffs metro – 18 of them at KVNO – Otis Twelve has retired.

Otis Twelve’s Final Sign Off

His final words on KVNO as host of Morning Classics were uttered during the last few minutes of our Fall Fund Drive on October 4th. It was a perfect farewell from an iconic communicator.

If you missed the farewell, enjoy the video here. There will never be another like him.

Final Ride of the Valkyries

What about his traditional celebration of Fridays? It, too, deserves an official send off! Buckle up for one last ride with Otis Twelve and Wagner’s Ride of the Valkyries.

Live Ride of the Valkyries

Enjoy this video from the Omaha Symphony’s live in-studio performance of Ride of the Valkyries!

Otis Twelve Day in Omaha

We welcomed Omaha’s Mayor Jean Stothert to the KVNO Studio this morning for a very special Proclamation that you can listen to below. September 6, 2024, is officially Otis Twelve Day in Omaha! Thank you to the City of Omaha and the Mayor for this incredible honor.
