We look forward to welcoming you back to Witherspoon Hall for a favorite partnership program with Omaha Symphony. Join us on six selected Sunday afternoons, October through May, for repertoire ranging from exciting new works to established gems. Plan to arrive early to stroll the galleries, enjoy lunch in The Cafe, or make a stop in The Shop.

1:25 pm art talk – presented by Thomas Busciglio-Ritter, PhD; Richard and Mary Holland Assistant Curator of American Western Art, focusing on Thomas Moran’s (American, born England, 1837-1926) The Pearl of Venice (1899)
2 pm concert – Bottesini & Beethoven 8
Principal Bass Nate Olson takes on Bottesini’s Double Bass Concerto No. 2, written in the style of Italian opera by the Paganini of the low strings.
