August Bursts with Art as PACE Hosts Major Events and Workshops
July 29th, 2025
Pottawattamie Arts, Culture and Entertainment, better known as PACE, is continuing its mission to strengthen, develop and promote the region’s arts, cultural and historical institutions.
According to Deanna Walz, director of development at PACE, August is packed with events and activities at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center, the organization’s vibrant hub in downtown Council Bluffs.
“This month is one of the busiest and most exciting times of the year for us,” Walz said. “There’s something for everyone, whether you’re into music, theater, visual arts or hands-on workshops.”
One of PACE’s largest annual events will take place this month, featuring themed decorations and special activities designed to create a fun and immersive experience for all ages.
In addition to headline events, the Hoff Center hosts ongoing classes and workshops in a variety of disciplines, open to the public throughout the year. PACE also offers a monthly recurring event that showcases its programs and invites the community to get involved and explore the arts.
“At the heart of everything we do is our commitment to building a creative, inclusive community,” Walz said.
