Ernest Richardsson, the esteemed and long-serving resident principal pops conductor of the Omaha Symphony, had initially not foreseen an extended stay upon his arrival in Omaha. Yet, surprisingly, over three decades have elapsed since that moment, underscoring the unexpected and enduring bond he has forged with the Omaha community.

His journey, spanning more than 30 years, stands as a testament to the wealth of experiences and connections that unfolded during his time with the symphony. This enduring relationship defied initial expectations, firmly establishing his integral role within Omaha’s vibrant cultural landscape.
