Omaha Symphony’s Christmas Celebration: A Timeless Holiday Tradition
December 13th, 2024
The Omaha Symphony’s Christmas Celebration has become a beloved holiday tradition for residents of Omaha. Since its debut in 1997, the event has captured the magic of the season, evolving over time with name changes, including Holiday Fanfare and Christmas with the Symphony.
This festive celebration is a carefully orchestrated collaboration, with the symphony preparing intricate musical arrangements. The show also features performances by choirs, special guests, and Broadway performers, creating unforgettable moments for all.
Christmas Celebration is not only a cherished tradition for its audience but also for the dedicated team behind the production. Parker Esse, now in his 12th season as the event’s choreographer, has brought his exceptional talent to this iconic performance.
After a distinguished career as a dancer and performer on Broadway and across the U.S. and beyond, Esse transitioned into choreography, taking the natural next step in his career. This season, he promises a memorable experience for both first-time attendees and regulars.
“I’m thrilled to be part of an event that’s a tradition for many and may become one for others,” Esse said.
The Omaha Symphony Christmas Celebration will have performances this afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday. For more information, visit OmahaSymphony.org.
