Peter Millett: Gestures is on view at KANEKO from May 1 through September 6, 2026.
Sculpture, at its most essential, is a conversation between form and space, and few artists have sustained that conversation with as much patience and curiosity as Peter Millett.
This exhibition runs from May 1 through September 26, 2026. Colecciones de Estudio de Invierno brings together new and recent work by Omaha sculptor and glass artist Therman Statom, one of the defining figures of the contemporary glass movement. The title points to the nature of the work itself: pieces that emerged from sustained studio practice, gathered here as a kind of personal inventory, objects that carry the accumulation of a long creative life.
Art Exhibit: Nature's Palette by Omaha Artists, Inc. Nature’s Palette brings together a diverse group of artists united by a shared reverence for the natural world and its endless capacity to inspire. Through varied mediums, styles, and perspectives, this exhibition reflects the richness of nature’s colors, textures, and rhythms—capturing both its quiet subtleties and its bold expressions.
Art Exhibit: Noticed. Pressed. Imprinted. by Holly Lukasiewicz. Artist Statement. As a flower artist who is inspired by what is growing seasonally along the shores of the Missouri River in Omaha, Nebraska, I’ve appreciated deepening a connection with the natural shifts of time in nature by tuning into what is blooming locally. Pressing flowers has become a deeply intentional practice into noticing these gifts around us.
Art Exhibit: Traveling Through Gardens by Lynette Fast. About the Exhibit
Traveling Through Gardens reflects Lynette Fast’s joy in creating wall art that both adorns and expresses. Her work balances a practical aim of everyday enjoyment with a creative pursuit of bold, statement-making pieces.
Inspired by nature and the people around her, Lynette creates one-of-a-kind works that connect to personal stories and the spaces they inhabit. Drawn to eclectic environments, she explores how art can reflect individuality while bringing beauty and meaning into daily life. With a deep passion for color, texture, gardens, teaching, and lifelong learning, this exhibit invites viewers to experience art as both a personal and shared journey—one that inspires, connects, and evolves.
