Artist Statement

Nature’s Palette brings together a diverse group of artists united by a shared reverence for the natural world and its endless capacity to inspire. Through varied mediums, styles, and perspectives, this exhibition reflects the richness of nature’s colors, textures, and rhythms—capturing both its quiet subtleties and its bold expressions. Presented by Omaha Artists, Inc., an organization dedicated to fostering artistic growth and appreciation in the Omaha metro area, this collection highlights the creative voices of members ranging from emerging talents to established professionals. Each work contributes to a broader dialogue about our connection to nature, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and rediscover beauty in the world around them.

About the Group

Omaha Artists, Inc., founded in February 1946 with 30 members, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting the appreciation and development of fine art in the Omaha metro area and beyond. Incorporated in 1964, the group has grown to over 100 members, bringing together active artists ranging from accomplished professionals to passionate hobbyists while expanding its scope of artistic programs and community engagement.

Lauritzen Gardens proudly provides a platform for local artists, showcasing botanical artwork inspired by our collections and celebrating the connection between art, nature, and our community.
