We believe this event would resonate deeply with KVNO listeners because both experiences invite reflection, imagination, and emotional depth. Just as a symphony unfolds in movements — building tension, harmony, and resolution — stories of landscapes, wildlife, and human connection to the land reveal patterns, rhythms, and meaning over time. Classical audiences often appreciate nuance, beauty, and a sense of place; nature stories offer all three, blending science, history, and personal narrative into something both intimate and expansive. Like music, storytelling about the natural world slows us down, sharpens our listening, and reconnects us to something larger than ourselves.
"Story Weaver" is for people who want to tell and/or listen to stories told in and about the natural world. It is also for musicians, poets, and thinkers. Story Weaver is for all folk who have something they would like to express about nature and our place in the vast community of life.
